Three thousand maunds of jute were burnt in a fire in a jute warehouse in Dasher Jangal Bazar of Gosairhat Upazila of Shariatpur. When the fire spread to about 15 godowns in the vicinity, besides jute, pepper, soybean and mustard warehouses were burnt.
