Jumbangla Desk: An oil tanker named Bangla Jyoti exploded in an oil tanker in Patenga, Chittagong.
2 fire service units are working to control the fire. Along with this, the Navy and the Air Force are working.
The incident took place at Dolphin Jetty of Eastern Refinery on Monday (September 30) morning. However, it is not known what caused this explosion. Although no casualties were initially reported in this incident, it is said that 3 sailors are missing.
It is known that the ship arrived at the jetty in the morning loaded with fuel oil. The explosion occurred while unloading oil. Jyoti Tanker of Bengal is an older vessel owned by Bangladesh Shipping Corporation (BSC).
