Presenter Kapil Sharma raised questions about Shahid and Mrinal's kiss on the show. The comedian asked, "Are you doing these philanthropic activities just for the script or out of your heart?"

To which Shahid replied with a smile, "The thing is, I do this with my mouth. But there's also a bit of desire with him."

Shahid visited Maldives with his wife and children last October. After the kissing question, Kapil asked, “Did you have to go to the Maldives with your wife Meera Rajput to kiss Mrinal?”
