International Desk: Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge fell ill while giving a speech at an election rally in Indian Kashmir. Shortly after this he recovered and jokingly said, 'I will not die until I see the fall of Modi.'

According to the Indian media, Economics Times, yesterday Sunday, Mallikarjun Kharge was addressing a public meeting in Kathua, Kashmir. He suddenly felt uncomfortable while giving a speech. That's when the doctor was called.

Understandably, he is feeling quite uncomfortable. Just then, another Congress leader on the dais grabbed his hand. Security guards and other Congress leaders then grabbed him and put him on a chair.

Then the doctor was called, said the Economic Times. After receiving first aid, he returned to the stage shortly after.

Mallikarjun Kharge jokingly said, 'I am 83 years old'. But not dying so soon. I will not die without seeing the fall of Modi. Remove him from the mattress and die only then.'

However, this veteran leader did not speak for a long time. The doctors said that he was given first aid. His condition is now stable.

In this regard, NDTV reported quoting a source that Kharag's blood pressure had dropped. But he is feeling much better now. Doctors advised him to rest.
