Sports Desk: There will be no compromise in his safety while playing as a player. But Shakib Al Hasan, who wants to bid farewell to Test cricket by playing the South Africa series on the country's soil in October, is as much of a problem as another claim.

BCB president Farooq Ahmed has already informed about the impossibility of fulfilling the demand letter given to him to leave the country safely after playing that series. After that, the youth and sports adviser Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan's speech yesterday did not brighten the possibility of Shakib saying goodbye to the Test from the country's ground.

Even so, the young advisor has shown this all-rounder a 'path'. Asif believes that Mashrafe bin Mortuza has been able to clear his position by walking the path in the meantime.

When the issue of Shakib's safety was raised in a press conference at the Ministry of Labor on Sunday afternoon, the sports advisor cited the example of Mashrafe and gave Shakib the advice, 'If there is any anger of the people, I have to reduce it by talking. I think he needs to clear his (Shakib) issue from a political point of view. In the meantime, Mashrafe bin Mortuza has also spoken about that issue.

However, Asif did not want to have any doubts about the safety of player Shakib. At the same time, he did not forget to remind the political identity of the star cricketer again and again, 'Now as a player, we have the responsibility to provide whatever security a player needs, we will give it when he comes to the country. But if there is anger among the people because of his political identity, that political issue should be clarified.

The advisor also thinks that ordinary people have a different mindset about Shakib, not the player, but the politician, 'There are two identities of Shakib Al Hasan here. We have to take care of this. One is the identity of the player, the other is the political identity. He elected MP from Awami League panel. People have mixed reactions to these two.

Advising Shakib to be proactive in alleviating public anger, Asif pointed out the obstacle in the way of ensuring the overall security of the star cricketer like this, 'I have five police constables and a gunman in my security. If there is anger of 10 crore people out of 16 crore people of the country, then these five-six people can give me security? I have no chance to be safe in that case either.' In this case, the former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina also said, 'If there is a security risk from the people, no one can guarantee it. Sheikh Hasina could not be given either. He had to flee the country.'

Shakib, who announced his retirement plans the day before the start of the Kanpur Test, pushed the ball in BCB's court on security issues. However, at the end of the meeting of the board of directors that evening, the sports advisor sent it back to Shakib's court even though it fell into 'no man's land' at the end of the meeting of the board of directors. This cricketer who is in the face of public anger now has to take the initiative to mitigate the anger himself. If he takes the initiative, he can open the way back to his country. His mentor and BCB director Nazmul Abedin Fahim is keeping that possibility in mind, 'I also want a cricketer like him to finish playing on the soil of the country. Cricket culture has to do with it. Unfortunately I don't see that possibility at the moment. I'm not ruling out the possibility though.'

Finally, on the fourth day, the ball rolled onto the field
