Jumbangla Desk: Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed said that the aim of the July-August student uprising was to ensure justice and rule of law at all levels of the country. It is undeniable that there is no substitute for the rule of law to build a just, exploitation-free society and establish justice at all levels of society.

He said this in the speech of the chief guest at the reception at the Faridpur District Lawyers' Association building on Sunday afternoon. District Lawyers Association Chief Justice Dr. Syed Refat Ahmed gave this reception.


At this time, the judge also said that equality, justice, right to fair trial and right to get shelter of law have been mentioned repeatedly in the eyes of our constitution and law.

District Lawyers Association President Advocate Abdul Quader Mia presided over the event, District Sessions Judge Judge Zia Haider, District Commissioner Kamrul Hasan Molya, Superintendent of Police Md. Abdul Jalil, Advocate Modarres Ali Icha, Advocate Subal Chandra Saha, Advocate Zahid Bepari etc. spoke.

Earlier in the morning, the Chief Justice inaugurated Nyayakunja, a restroom set up in the court premises for the litigants and planted a sapling of bokul flowers. Later he visited various courtrooms.
