Artificial Intelligence (AI) is present in almost every field today. Therefore, there is a lot of discussion about the impact of artificial intelligence on all the socio-economic fields, starting from jobs. Many professionals in various sectors have lost their jobs due to the use of AI-based chatbots by large technology companies in various countries. Many are also at risk of losing their jobs. Sam Altman, the chief executive officer (CEO) of OpenAI, the maker of ChatGPT, recently spoke about a task that could never be done with AI.

Sam Altman believes that AI will not replace the jobs of writers. There is no chance. He believes that AI chatbots can actually be a helpful tool for writers. These chatbots lack the ability to think and be creative. AI chatbots have a long way to go for good writing. In this regard, Sam said, 'There is a lot of bad writing on the internet, which is written by AI. Many students have poor assignments due to writing with AI. I don't think anyone is paying attention.'

Sam Altman considers AI to be collaborative. AI chatbots won't overtake human writers despite being used to write books and assignments in schools, Altman says confidently. Human writers are unlikely to be replaced anytime soon. AI is an incredible tool for writers. AI itself is not a writer.

Sam believes that even if AI improves in the future, the most popular novels will still be written by humans. He says, 'When I finish a great book, the first thing I do is find out about the author. I want to know their lives. I don't think AI will make me feel that way about writing.'
