Many become dual voters with fingerprints: EC Secretary

Jumbangla Desk: Election Commission (EC) Secretary Shafiul Azim has said that many people give fingerprints in case of double voter.

He said this in a meeting at Agargaon election building in the capital on Monday (September 30) afternoon.

Shafiul Azim said, 'Even if there is no commission, there is no pending work of the EC Secretariat. EC is working towards providing service simplification, people friendly and corruption free NID services. The service seekers cannot be harassed in any way.'

The EC Secretary said that the EC Secretariat is working with special importance to the expatriates. Expatriate voting is underway in 7 countries. This program will be done first in countries where there are more Bangladeshis.
