Religion Desk: Daughter is the best gift of God. They come to the world with the invitation of Paradise for their parents. That is why the news of a daughter is called 'good news' in the Holy Qur'an.

Daughter

Allah says in the Holy Qur'an, 'When one of them is given the good news of a daughter, his face turns black and he is overcome with unbearable grief.

He hides himself from his people because of his grief at the glad tidings that are given to him; He thinks that in spite of his depravity he will leave him, or bury him in the ground. Notice how poor decisions he made. (Surah: Nahl, Verse: 58-59)

Rasulullah (s.a.w.) announced three rewards for raising daughters—one. Released from hell, two. Guaranteed entry to Paradise and three. The good fortune of being with the Prophet (PBUH) in Paradise.

Daughters are the gift of God: Disliking daughters, misbehaving them and not fulfilling their upbringing duties properly, is the bad practice of the pre-Islamic barbaric Jahili period. Allah Ta'ala is very displeased with such work.

Allah Ta'ala says in the Holy Qur'an, 'When one of them is given the good news of a daughter, his face darkens and his heart becomes distressed. He hides his face from the people in grief at the good news he was told. He thought, would he suffer the humiliation and let him live or would he bury him underground. Listen, their judgment is very poor. (Surah An-Nahl, Verses 58-59)

Rasool (PBUH) loved girls a lot. The girls were his darlings. Throughout her life she loved daughters and inspired others to raise daughters. He gave a lot of encouragement in raising his daughter.

In a hadith narrated by Anas (RA), the Prophet (PBUH) said, 'Whoever brings up two daughters until they are girls, I and she will come together on the Day of Resurrection like two fingers (then he joined his fingers together). showed it)'. (Muslim, Hadith No: 2631, Tirmidhi, Hadith No: 1914, Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No: 12089, Ibn Abi Shaiba, Hadith No: 25948)

Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Abbas (R.A.) said, Rasulullah (S.A.W.) said, “Whoever has a daughter born in his house, then he does not harm her, nor is he displeased with her, and does not give priority to his son over her, then Allah will forgive her because of that daughter. Allah will make him enter Paradise. (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No: 1/223)

Hazrat Abdullah Umar (RA) narrates, Rasul (SAW) said, 'That woman is blessed and fortunate, whose first child is a girl. Because, (in describing the blessings of childbearing) Allah Ta'ala mentions the daughter first and says, He gives a daughter to whom He wills, and a son to whom He wills. (Qanjul Ummal 16:611)

Ayesha (RA) said, 'A woman came to me. He has two daughters with him. He prayed to me. He could see nothing but a date with me. I gave it to him. She accepted it and divided it into two pieces between her two daughters. Since then he has not played anything himself. Then the woman and her daughter both got up and left. At that time, the Prophet (PBUH) came to me. I told him about the woman. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said, 'Whoever is tested by something with daughters and behaves properly towards them, it will be a protection for him from the Fire. (Muslim, Hadith No: 6862; Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No: 24616)

Incidentally, it is not only the father who raises the daughter; Brother is also encouraged. The sister is also mentioned in the hadith. Those who think that spending money on a daughter or sister has no benefit in the future, they are basically wrong.

On the authority of Abu Sa'eed Khudri (RA), the Prophet (PBUH) said, "If a person has three daughters or sisters or two daughters or sisters, and he fears Allah concerning them and treats them well, then he must will enter paradise. (Musnad Ahmad, Hadith No: 11404; Adabul Mufarad Lil-Bukhari: 79)

In order not to discriminate in the rearing of daughters and materialistic persons should not suffer inferiority, they are advised to be patient in rearing daughters. The news of a great achievement in the Hereafter has been announced.

On the authority of Abu Huraira (RA), Rasulullah (SAW) said, 'He who has three daughters and endures their hardships will enter Paradise. (In the narration of Muhammad Ibn Yunus, this hadith comes as an additional part) A person asked, O Messenger of Allah, if there are two? He replied, "At least two people." The man asked again, if one is O Messenger of Allah? He said, even one. (Bayhaqi, Shuabul Iman: 8311)

On the authority of Awf bin Malek Ashzai (RA), he said, Rasulullah (SAW) said, 'Whoever has three daughters on whom he spends money until marriage or death, they will be a cause of release from the Fire for him. Then a woman said, O Messenger of God, and two daughters? He said, even if two girls. (Bayhaqi, Shuabul Iman, Hadith No: 8313)

Those who consider the gift of Allah and nurture their daughters with real love, take care of them, Allah Ta'ala will reward them well. And those who despise and neglect their upbringing, Allah will punish them. Therefore, a daughter should be loved with all her heart. So may Allah bless us.
