Religion Desk: It is a sin to pass in front of a praying person. There is a strict prohibition in the hadith about crossing in front of a praying person. In a hadith narrated by Abu Hurairah (RA), the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) said, "If a person passes in front of a praying person, if he knew (how severe his sin or punishment is), then standing in front of him for a hundred years would be worth a hundred years." It felt good to stay. (Sunan Ibn Majah, Hadith: 946; Kanzul Ummal fi Sunanil Aqwal Wal Afal, Hadith: 19252)

prayer

However, if necessary, in front of the namaz, a sutra, i.e. a hand or something higher than that, can be arranged and crossed in front of the person standing in namaz. Any object longer than one hand or more like chair, tool and wooden stand etc. can be used as sutra. It should be kept standing in front of Namazi. (Sahih Muslim, Hadith: 499)

Also, in other hadiths, the Prophet instructed to pray with the sutras in front of him before starting the prayer. Therefore, the correct guidance of Islam should be known in this regard.

If there is no sutra to pass in front of the person praying, then the Islamic law in this case is - If there is no sutra in front of the prayer and the mosque is very big and very spacious; Then two queues of praying persons can be crossed in front. But if there is no special need, it is better not to cross like this. (Khulasatul Fatawa: 01/59)

If the mosque is large, i.e. the width of the mosque is more than forty cubits, then it is permissible to pass in front of two rows of people praying in the said mosque. On the other hand, if the mosque is smaller than forty cubits, then it will not be permissible to pass in front of the person praying 'without a Sutra (barrier)'. Sutra can be crossed if necessary by keeping it in front. (Fathul Qadir: 1/354; Fatwae Shami: 1/637; Al-Bahrur Rayeeq: 2/17)

Power contract with Adani may be cancelled

Sometimes some worshipers are seen in mosques, they walk in front of the praying person using handkerchiefs or prayer sutras in their hands in order to leave quickly. Such 'moving sutras' are not sufficient as sutras to pass before the praying person. So it should be avoided. (Badayyus Sana'i: 1/509; Sharhul Muniyah page: 367)
