Pakistan's Finance and Revenue Minister Mohammad Aurangzeb confirmed this in a press conference on Sunday. He said, after the approval of the cabinet to restore economic stability in the country, it has been decided to abolish 60 percent vacant posts.

Aurangzeb also said that the government will take necessary steps to bring all the businessmen of the country under the tax.

Indian media Hindustan Times says that Pakistan has been in dire financial straits for a long time. In this situation, they have asked for 7 billion US dollars financial assistance from the IMF.

However, several conditions are imposed for this. Accordingly, now the government of Pakistan is forced to take difficult decisions. It is clearly stated that unnecessary expenditure cannot be done.

According to the IMF, sectors like agriculture and real estate should be taxed at a higher rate. Government subsidies and concessions should be reduced in various cases. In this situation, Pakistan recently received 1 billion dollars in financial aid. And to get it, Shahbaz Sharif's government started taking steps according to the conditions.
