India dominated the attack in the first half at the Changlimithang Stadium in Thimpur on Monday. However, Bangladesh retains firmness in defense. The champions struck first in the third minute. Bangladesh survived when India headed over the crossbar from a teammate's cross.

India also got a chance in the 35th minute after a failed attack against Bangladesh, but Levis' shot failed to find its destination.
