Former whip Mahbub Ara Begum Guinea arrested

Jumbangla Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) has arrested Mahbub Ara Begum Gini, former Member of Parliament of Gaibandha-2 (Sadar) Constituency and Whip of Jatiya Sangsad . DB said there are two cases against him.

He was arrested from Dhanmondi on Tuesday night (October 1). After the arrest, he is being taken to the office of the police intelligence branch.

Confirming the arrest of Gini, DMP Additional Commissioner of Police (Investigation) Rezaul Karim Mallick said that the former MP of Gaibandha-2 (Sadar), Whip of the Jatiya Sangsad Mahbub Ara Begum Gini has been arrested by the DB. He was arrested from Dhanmondi at midnight today.

He said that there are two cases against Mahbub Ara Begum Gini.
