Jumbangla Desk: A complaint has been received that a young man named Russell Shikder was hacked to death for preventing a robbery in Rasulpur area of ​​Jatrabari police station of the capital. This incident happened on Monday around 8:30 pm.

Russel Shikder was taken to Dhaka Medical College (DMH) hospital with serious injuries and the doctor declared him dead at 10 pm.

It is known that the deceased Russell is the son of deceased Aslam Shikder of Narayanganj Sonargaon. At present, Jatrabari was living on rent in house 165 of South Kutubali. He owns a shoe shop in Gulistan. He is the father of a three-year-old daughter.

Rubel Shikder, the younger brother of the deceased, said that two days ago, my brother forbade the identified local robbers Hridiya, Hasib, Piyas, Ramzan and Naeem from robbing in Rasulpur area. My brother even beat up some of them. Later this evening they hacked my brother. At this time another person named Sifat was cut and injured.

Rubel Shikder also said, I rescued my brother and took him to a local hospital first. From there, when I was taken to Dhaka Medical, the doctor said that my brother is no longer alive. Injured Sifat Jatrabari is undergoing treatment in a private hospital. My brother was hacked to death in different parts of the body.
