Jumbangla Desk: From Sunday (September 29) 8 am to Monday (September 30) 8 am (in one day), 5 more people died due to dengue. At the same time, another 1,152 people were hospitalized due to the virus. This information was informed in a press release sent from the Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the Department of Health today.

Dengue

It is said that 1152 people have been newly admitted to the hospital. Among them 70 people in Barisal Division, 233 people in Chittagong Division, 219 people in Dhaka Division (outside City Corporation), 252 people in Dhaka North City, 187 people in Dhaka South City, 86 people in Khulna Division, 40 people in Rajshahi Division, 27 people in Mymensingh Division and Rangpur. 38 people have been admitted in the department.

Meanwhile, 982 dengue patients have been discharged from hospitals across the country in these 24 hours. This year, 27 thousand 313 people got clearance.

According to the Department of Health, a total of 30,938 patients have been admitted to the hospital since January this year. 163 people have died of dengue so far this year.

Last year, 3 lakh 21 thousand 179 people were admitted to the hospital due to dengue. 1 thousand 705 people died.
