He then interacted with retired armed forces personnel.

At present, for the welfare of the retired members of the armed forces, 31 medical dispensaries are already being run by the Bangladesh Armed Forces Board in various districts of the country with the funding of the Army, Navy, Air Force and Army Welfare Organizations.

30 more new medical dispensaries will be operationalized today in 61 districts of the country to facilitate access to medical care for 1,55,264 retired armed forces personnel and their families.

Ration allowance of retired armed forces personnel has also been increased. He expressed hope that the standard of living of the retired armed forces members and their families will improve to a large extent by taking several more steps in this regard by the armed forces.
