Sometimes it happens that the tune of a favorite song comes to mind but the words do not come to mind. YouTube Music brought a solution to such a problem. The platform has launched a new song search feature to make finding songs easier. It can be found by humming some lines of the song or playing the instrument.

According to NinetwoFive Google, YouTube has been testing the much-awaited technology since last March. The feature is currently open for Android operating system users.

There are some steps to follow to use the search song feature. First, click on the search or magnifying icon at the top of the Music app. Next there is the microphone

Find the webform or wave icon. By clicking on this icon the user can find the specified song by singing or humming the melody. After searching, the new page will show the song name, artist name, album and cover art, year of release and other important information about the song.

Tech Times reports that the software is based on the Pixel's 'Now Playing' feature. It can match the sound to the original recording using artificial intelligence or AI. The feature arrived in a server-side update to version 7.02 of YouTube Music for Android. Although there is no information about bringing it to iOS, it is believed that the feature may come to this operating system in the future.
