Lifestyle Desk: What is the ideal age for marriage? This question is in the mind of many people. Some get married in 20 years and some cross 30. Some still feel hesitant even in their forties. As a result, various crises arise in the subsequent married life. But what is the ideal age to get married or what does science say about it?
Ideal age for marriage
Recently, Professor Nicholas H. Wolfinger of Ucha University in the United States has shown in a study that the ideal age to get married is between 20 and 30 years. He mentioned as the reason, those who get married during this period, the risk of separation in their married life is very less.
The study was published by the Institute of Family Studies, which advises couples to get married by the age of 30.
Studies show that those who get married between the ages of 28 and 32 are more likely to divorce. If you get married between 20 and 30 years after your teenage years, the risk of divorce is very less. Again, if you get married between the ages of 30 and 40, this fear increases a lot.
According to Wolfinger, among those married after age 32 or older, the likelihood of divorce increases by 5 percent each year. But many of those who waited till 30 years to get married think they are doing better than others.
He said, those who marry late, their success in life also comes late. Complications arise even in taking children.
