Honorable Commandant of Military Institute of Science and Technology (MIST) Major General Md. Nasim Parvez, BSP, NDC, AFWC, PSC attended the closing ceremony of the conference as the chief guest and distributed awards. In addition to MIST, BUET, RUET, QUET, Ahsanullah Students and faculty from 9 other universities including Science and Technology University, IUT, Dhaka University, BUP, AIUB, Sonargaon University participated. This conference will create a unique opportunity for new researchers and scientists to exchange ideas and experiences. This conference is expected to be an effective platform for presenting and discussing the latest innovations and trends and their solutions along with practical problems in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, Naval, Energy Engineering and other related fields.


69 research abstracts were submitted in the conference out of which 55 were selected for oral and poster presentations. A total of 24 research abstracts and 11 posters were presented after evaluation by discerning judges. Prizes are awarded for the best research and poster based on the evaluation of the judges. At the end of the event, awards were distributed among the researchers and students who presented the best research papers and research posters as judged by the jury.

For the first time in Bangladesh, graduate students have engaged in organizational roles at a national conference. Through this participation our students are expected to gain valuable skills in organization, teamwork and cooperation. This will encourage other students to take similar initiatives, which will help to enhance the academic and research reputation of Bangladeshi universities at the international level and improve their ranking.
