Applications have started from today (October 1). Applications can be made till October 15.
According to the information provided by the Bangladesh Police, according to the district-wise vacancies, the maximum number of candidates will be taken from Dhaka district with 351 candidates. After that 222 people will be taken from the second highest Chittagong district.
Apart from this, 99 people will be taken in Gazipur district, 41 in Manikganj, 42 in Munshiganj, 86 in Narayanganj, 65 in Narsingdi, 56 in Faridpur, 34 in Gopalganj, 34 in Madaripur, 31 in Rajbari, 34 in Shariatpur, 85 in Kishoreganj, 105 in Tangail, 149 in Mymensingh, 67 in Jamalpur, 65 in Netrakona. , 39 in Sherpur, 11 in Bandarban, 67 in Cox's Bazar.

"Initially we have decided to recruit Trainee Recruit Constables (TRCs) from 64 districts on the basis of vacancies till June, 2024," said a senior police headquarters official on condition of anonymity.
Police Headquarters has made necessary preparations for the recruitment and already an advertisement containing the relevant information has been published in various national dailies. Officials said the main recruitment process will begin on October 25 and end on December 4.
Assistant Inspector General (AIG) Media and Public Relations (AIG) Enamul Haque Sagar said the police headquarters planned to appoint the TRC by maintaining a corruption-free process and complete transparency.
He said that the police headquarters has already warned the aspirants not to engage in any kind of financial transaction with anyone during the recruitment process. Aspiring TRCs have to go through at least seven stages of the recruitment process under the close monitoring and supervision of Police Headquarters.
These steps are – Preliminary Screening, Physical Measurement and Document Verification, Physical Fitness Test, Written Test, Intelligence Question Test and Viva, Medical Examination, Police Verification and Attendance at Police Training Center (PTC).
Intelligence officers including the Special Branch (SB) of the police have started their field work to ensure fair recruitment of police trainees.
Sagar also said that if any unfair attempts are noticed in the recruitment process, they must identify the vested interest groups.
AIG Sagar said, 'We will be on high alert as well as implementing our digitized mechanism across the country to ensure fair recruitment. Police's cyber patrol will be strengthened on various social media platforms.
"The Inspector General of Police (IGP) has already directed the units concerned to take necessary measures to ensure a free, fair recruitment process, so that no one can question it," he said.
He requested all to dial 999 if any foul play or irregularity is detected during the recruitment process.
Adviser on Home Affairs Lieutenant General (retd) Jahangir Alam Chowdhury while talking to reporters at the Secretariat today said that they are planning to recruit new policemen and an advertisement has already been published in this regard.
He also said, 'Sub-inspector recruitment advertisement will also be published in a couple of days. We are planning to recruit BGB (Border Guard Bangladesh) and Ansar members.'
