Jumbangla Desk: Three persons were arrested along with a large amount of arms and bullets in a joint operation of the Kalabagan police station of the capital and the army.

The arrested are - Md. Happy, Md. Shakil Hossain and Sharif Md. Abdullah

Two steel pistols with two magazines and 13 rounds of live ammunition, one indigenous steel pipe gun with 12 bore cartridges, one ear gun, one electric shock (teaser), two chapatis, three indigenous iron knives, one iron Chinese axe, one indigenous Lohar Da, three mobile phones and a web camera were recovered.

They were arrested on Friday (September 20) at 5:45 pm at a house near Lal Fakir shrine of Kalabagan police station.

Based on secret information, it is known that some people are staying near the shrine of Lal Fakir of Kalabagan police station with a large amount of domestic and foreign weapons. On the basis of such information, Kalabagan Police and Army forces conducted a joint operation at the place and arrested them along with a large quantity of arms and bullets.

Initial interrogation revealed that the arrested are active members of an organized terror gang. They have been conducting terrorist activities for a long time. A case has been filed against the arrested under Arms Act at Kala Bagan Police Station.
