8 crores of public relief will go to the chief adviser's relief fund

Jumbangla Desk: 9 crore 91 lakh 51 thousand 213 taka collected in public relief program for flood victims in TSC of Dhaka University is kept in two bank accounts. Out of this, Tk 8 crore will be deposited in the chief adviser's relief fund through the relief ministry, the anti-discrimination student movement said.

The amount of money in the fund was announced after the audit of public relief on Tuesday (October 1). Later, the workers of the student movement informed about how the relief money will be spent.
The students said that 8 crore rupees will be deposited in the chief adviser's relief fund. The remaining 1 crore 91 lakh rupees will be spent on people in the flood affected districts of North Bengal. They said that the relief program will start from tomorrow.
Earlier, Auditor Golam Fazlul Kabir said that funds of Tk 11 crore 69 lakh 84 thousand 420 were collected. Out of this cash comes to 9 crore 85 lakh 15 thousand 425 taka. The rest of the money comes through mobile banking, prizebonds, dollars and other means. Out of this 1 crore 78 lakh 33 thousand 207 taka has been spent. And currently there are 9 crore 91 lakh 51 thousand 213 taka in two accounts of the bank.

He said that the audit work started from September 10 and ended on September 20. Only financial audits have been done during this period. Goods & Garments and noncash audit not possible.
