On the Indian visa issue, he said, Bangladesh-India wants to maintain good relations for their own interests. The two heads of government are likely to meet at the Bay of Bengal Initiative for Multisectoral Technical and Economic Cooperation (BIMSTEC) summit next month. Apart from this, India will soon introduce all types of visas.
After that, on the issue of relations with Pakistan, the foreign adviser said that Islamabad-Dhaka relations can be taken forward if Pakistan officially expresses its regret.

He also commented that controversial statements of Indian political leaders about Bangladesh are unacceptable.
