After 52 hours of continuous blockade, the angry workers of Ashulia's Birds Group moved away from the highway on the assurance of the army. They left the road at 12:50 p.m. today, Wednesday. Later traffic started under army guard.

Earlier on Monday at 9:30 a.m. workers of four factories of Bird's Group blocked the bypile area of ​​Nabinagar-Chandra highway demanding payment of dues.

A worker of Bird's Group, who did not wish to be named, said, "The army has said, you leave the road, whatever you owe will be given to you." We are with you. We are happy to get the assurance, when we get the money, we will be completely happy.'
