Jumbangla Desk: At least 30 people have been injured in a clash between two parties over the recovery of money by repairing the unpaved road in Brahmanbaria. The incident took place in Terkanda village of Noagaon union of the upazila on Wednesday (October 2) morning.

According to the police and locals, recently a dirt road in Terkanda village of the upazila was broken and the members of the group Nayan and his associates repaired it by dumping soil. On Tuesday (October 1st) morning, Jewel of the Sardar clan of the same village was passing through that road in a CNG-driven auto-rickshaw. At that time, Nayan asked Jewel about the road repair and asked for 10 rupees. When Jewel expressed reluctance to pay the money, an argument and fight took place between them.
To settle the matter, people from both sides sat in arbitration that evening. At that time the tension between the two sides led to an hour-long clash in the night. As a result, on Wednesday morning, people from both sides clashed again with indigenous weapons. 30 people from both sides were injured in the clash. The injured were treated at the local upazila health complex.
