Youth killed by bus in Gazipur, 3 buses on fire

Jumbangla Desk: An unidentified youth was killed when a Balaka Paribahan bus hit him while crossing the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway in Gazipur. Due to this incident, people set fire to three buses of Balaka Paribahan.

The accident happened on Wednesday (October 2) around 10:30 pm. Police could not immediately identify the victim.

Inspector (Investigation) Nandalal Roy of Basan police station of Gazipur Metropolitan Police told the media that a Balaka Paribahan bus was going from Dhaka to Gazipur at night. As soon as the bus reached Basan road area of ​​Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, an unidentified youth was crushed and he was killed on the spot. Then the agitated mob set fire to three buses of Balaka Transport. Locals took away the body of the deceased before the police arrived. We reached the spot and found no body, no one can say where the body was taken.
