Jumbangla Desk: Malaysian Prime Minister Dato Seri Anwar Ibrahim is coming to Bangladesh tomorrow (October 4).

Tawhid said that during the visit, the Prime Minister of Malaysia will have a private meeting with the Chief Advisor and will also meet President Mohammad Shahbuddin during his one-day stay in Dhaka.

He mentioned that Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim was the first head of government to congratulate the interim government after assuming office.

The adviser said that the chief adviser to the Prime Minister of Malaysia, Professor Dr. The visit was quickly arranged due to the interest in meeting Muhammad Yunus.

Tawhid said that the discussion between the two heads of government will focus on economic cooperation, political relations, trade and investment, labor migration, education, technology, infrastructural development and defense cooperation.

He said Bangladesh is expected to seek Malaysia's support in addressing the ongoing Rohingya refugee crisis as well as advancing its aspirations to become a 'sectoral dialogue partner' within the ASEAN framework.

Hussain also said that we will discuss all issues and hope that Malaysia as an ASEAN member will play an active role in solving the Rohingya crisis.

He also mentioned that Malaysia's chairmanship of ASEAN in 2025 and the expectation of more regional cooperation on important issues will also be discussed.

The visit is expected to further strengthen the partnership between Bangladesh and Malaysia, enhance cooperation in multiple sectors and deepen diplomatic and economic ties.

When Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim arrives in Dhaka, he will be welcomed with full state honors as a reflection of the close and long-standing relations between the two countries.
