Jumbangla Desk: Maulana Mizanur Rahman Azhari, the popular Islamic negotiator of Bangladesh who is staying in Malaysia, has returned home. He himself said this in a message on his verified Facebook page on Wednesday (October 2).

Mizanur Rahman Azhari left Malaysia in February 2020 due to some surrounding reasons. Since then he was staying there. Maulana Mizanur Rahman Azhari expressed the hope of returning to the country on August 6 after the fall of Sheikh Hasina's government.

In that video message on his verified Facebook page, he said, many people have messaged me and called me personally asking when I will return to the country. I want to tell them, I will return home soon. I myself am waiting to meet you. I would like to meet you soon in Bangladesh, a country free of humanity and equality.

In a long video message, he said, I respectfully remember the martyrs who made the movement successful through fresh blood and seek forgiveness for their souls. I wish the injured a speedy recovery. Salute to those who are leading and still struggling in the anti-discrimination movement.

He urged everyone to be aware of the situation that has developed in the country after the successful movement. He said that victory can be properly celebrated only if we behave responsibly.

He also urged not to do injustice to minorities. He said that now many people will take the opportunity to drive the minorities to sub-sacrifices and establishments and try to put the blame on the Islamists and madrassa students. So everyone should be alert to foil the conspiracy of those who are not happy with this victory.

He said to the Madrasa students in particular, you must ensure the safety of the minorities. Be careful and aware that no one can attack them. If we make mistakes in these areas, Islam in Bangladesh will fall far behind.
