Entertainment Desk: Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury's movie 'Boli' has been nominated for the Oscar competition, the most prestigious award in the world of cinema. The movie will fight from Bangladesh in the Best International Feature Film category of this year's 97th Oscar.

The movie is not yet released in Bangladesh. However, before its release in the country, the movie has participated in various film festivals around the world. This time it is going to be a part of a prestigious event like the Oscars.
Each year, the Oscars present awards in 17 categories in 24 categories. Foreign films compete in the Oscars' International Feature Film (Foreign Language Competition) category.
To fulfill the dream of winning an Oscar, the producer of the movie has to approach the 'Oscar Bangladesh Committee'. When this committee invited Bangladeshi films to compete in the Best International Feature Film category at the Oscars this year, the director submitted his film.
On Tuesday (October 1) night, the members of the 'Oscar Bangladesh Committee' finalized Iqbal Hossain Chowdhury's film 'Boli' for the competition at the 97th Oscars.
National Film Award winning actor Nasir Uddin Khan, AKM Itmam, Priyam Archie, Angel Noor, Tahadil Ahmed etc. have played various roles in the government funded movie 'Boli' produced by Piplu R Khan.
