Jumbangla Desk: The Meteorological Department has said that storms with a maximum speed of 60 km per hour may occur in 18 regions of the country by evening.

This information was given in the weather forecast for the country's inland river ports till 6 pm on Thursday (October 3).

According to the notification, over Rajshahi, Pabna, Bogra, Tangail, Mymensingh, Faridpur, Madaripur, Dhaka, Jessore, Kushtia, Khulna, Barisal, Patuakhali, Comilla, Noakhali, Chittagong, Kakrabazar and Sylhet areas from West or South-West hourly. Rain or thundershowers with gusty or gusty winds at 45 to 60 km/h.

The river ports in these areas have been asked to display warning signal number 1.

In another message, light to moderate rain with gusty winds or thundershowers may occur in most parts of all divisions till 9 am on Friday (October 4). Along with this, there may be moderate to very heavy rainfall in some parts of the country. Day and night temperatures may drop by (2-4) degrees Celsius across the country.
