Industrial police and workers said that workers of Radial International Limited factory in Jirani area protested with various demands. At this time, the workers of the nearby Irish Fashion Limited factory were also asked to join them. But because the workers of that factory did not express solidarity with them, the Irish Fashion Limited factory was attacked. They attacked and vandalized several goods.

In protest of that incident, Irish factory workers attacked the Radial factory and vandalized it on Thursday morning. At this time, a lot of tension spread between the workers of the two factories. At one stage, the agitated workers blockaded the Chandra Nabinagar road. On receiving the information, the industrial police and army personnel went and removed the workers from the road, and the traffic flow was normal from 10 am.
