Committee to investigate allegations of dealings in the appointment of DC

Jumbangla Desk: A committee has been constituted to investigate the authenticity of the allegations of money transactions against the senior secretary of the Ministry of Public Administration regarding the appointment of the Deputy Commissioner (DC).
Sharmin S. Murshid, adviser to the Ministry of Social Welfare, told reporters this information at the Secretariat on Thursday (October 3) afternoon.
The adviser said, 'Of course we will investigate it. The post, telecommunications and information technology adviser, legal adviser and home affairs adviser have been given the responsibility of investigation.
Meanwhile, in response to a question from reporters in the secretariat in the morning, accused senior secretary Mokhles Ur Rahman said, 'It's a fake news.'
It is to be noted that the news was published in a national daily under the title 'DC recruitment scam, I am not greedy for money, 5 crores will be fine'. After that, there was a storm of criticism on the matter across the country.
