On Thursday (October 3) morning, 4 fish were brought to Alipur BFDC Market in Kuakata with the intention of selling them. At this time, the local crowd gathers in the Arat Patti to have a glimpse of the fish.

It is known that the weight of 2 fish of FB Farzana trawler of Amjed Hossain Majhi of Alipur was 75 kg, which was bought by a businessman named Ah Salam for seven and a half thousand taka through auction. The other two fishes were brought to sell in the same market by Majhi Badal Mia of the FB Vaivai trawler from the same area. Karima Fee owner Mojibur Rahman bought the two fish for two and a half thousand taka through auction.


Talking to fishermen and fishermen, it is known that this fish is locally known as bird fish due to the large fins on its back. According to the Fisheries Department, it is the fastest aquatic animal in the sea.
