Time magazine wrote about Nahid, 'Nahid is one of the many leaders of the movement. After being tortured by the intelligence agencies of Bangladesh, his recognition to the public increased.


The magazine also says, 'The way Bangladesh's democratic system has collapsed in 15 years of authoritarian rule, now the new government has to take up the challenge of repairing it.' By the way, Nobel laureate Dr. Nahid is one of the two advisers to 'Zen G' in the interim government of Muhammad Yunus. The other is Asif Mahmud Sajib Bhuiyan.
