Jumbangla Desk: The Traffic Department of Dhaka Metropolitan Police fined around 38 lakh taka in one day for violating the traffic law.

This information was informed by the DMP on Thursday (October 3) afternoon.

It is said that 972 cases and 3.7 lakh 94 thousand rupees were fined by conducting operations against traffic law violators in various areas of the capital on Wednesday.

Apart from this, 201 cars were dumped and 83 cars were wrecked during the operation.

The operation of DMP traffic department will continue to maintain traffic order in Dhaka metropolitan area.

DMP Media and Public Relations Department Deputy Police Commissioner (DC) Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that traffic police members are working day and night to restore order on the road.
