BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi alleged that Sheikh Hasina's henchmen are active everywhere in the government.

He said that the ghosts of dictatorship Sheikh Hasina are in the court, in the administration and in the police. They have continued to conspire against the government at every post. He said these things while highlighting the state of the country's administration in a protest rally at the National Press Club premises on Thursday.

A joint initiative of Dhaka Journalists Union (Ekangsh) and Dhaka Journalists Union (Ekangsh) held a protest rally demanding the withdrawal of all false cases against the editor of Amar Desh Patrika Mahmudur Rahman and the opening of Amar Desh Patrika.

Calling for immediate reforms and elections, Rizvi said, fascism and Nazis can never be politically and socially rehabilitated. Muslini did not return to Italy, Hitler did not resettle in Germany. So no way mafia-nazi-fascists will be resettled in Bangladesh. A new revolutionary Bangladesh, a democratic Bangladesh, a rule of law Bangladesh, a Bangladesh with independence of judiciary should be built.

Urging the interim government to act like a people's government, he said that this revolution was built on the sacrifices of the opposition party and the revolution of the students. Then everything in its program will be revolutionary. Today, Sheikh Hasina's friends who are killing Ghap are trying to create confusion in every place in the administration, in the police. What is the murder in front of the police? Then the responsibility falls on the interim government. Rizvi questioned why Mahmudur Rahman should go to jail in 'fascism-free Bangladesh'.

He said, it has been two months why the acting chairman of BNP Tariq Rahman did not come to the country? What legal process is there? This law is against humanity. This law protects the interests of mafias, dictators, murderers. This law can be changed at the stroke of an executive order. So are you (interim government) afraid? Or someone is giving instructions from somewhere that you can't go beyond it, work like this. Do these things to ensure that Deshanaik Tariq Rahman cannot return, they cannot be changed.

Quader Gani Chowdhury, Secretary General of BFU said, "It is very sad that after the revolution in the movement of students, we have to take to the streets with demands. We will open the media including all closed newspapers from this rally.

Acting President of Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) Obaidur Rahman Shaheen and moderated by Didarul Alam Didar, Joint Secretary of Dhaka Journalists Union, also addressed the protest rally - National Press Club President Hasan Hafiz, Dhaka Journalists Union President Shahidul Islam, General Secretary Khurshid Alam, BNP Volunteer Affairs Secretary. Mir Sarafat Ali Sapu, BFU Vice President Bachir Jamal, Senior Journalists Abdul Awal Thakur, AKM Mohsin, Rashedul Haque, Dhaka Reporters Unity Mursalin Nomani, Mohiuddin etc.
