Law and order forces arrested 15 leaders and activists of Awami League and affiliated organizations in Feni.

Feni Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Marm Singh Tripura confirmed this information on Wednesday night.

They were arrested in various places of the district. In the raid, 2 persons were arrested from Sonagazi, 2 persons from Parashuram, 4 persons from Daganbhanya, 2 persons from Chagalnaya, 4 persons from Phulgazi and one UP member from Baligaon of Feni Sadar.

Feni Model Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Maram Singh Tripura said that 11 people have been arrested in the Mohipal student-crowd killing case and 4 people have been arrested in the case of attack on the movement. Among them, Noor Alam is in police custody in the hospital for treatment. Others have been sent to jail by court.

According to police sources, the vice-president of Municipal Awami League Noor Alam Master (48) and vice-president of Upazila Chhatra League Munna Aziz (30) from Sonagazi, the president of Municipal Awami League Ward No. 5 from Parshuram. Ibrahim Majumdar (42) and 6th Ward Chhatra League President Md. Ali (21), former councilor of municipal ward No. 3 Zia Uddin Masud (48), general secretary of Municipal Volunteer League Nazrul Islam Rajeev (39), member of Rajapur Union Awami League Abul Khair Patwari (63) and deputy general secretary of municipal Chhatra League from Daganbhunia. Saimun Islam Prakash Rahim (22), a member of Municipal Awami League from Chagalnaya. Sohag (29) and former General Secretary of Upazila Chhatra League Shaukat Hossain Rubel (33), President of Anandpur Union Awami League from Fulgazi. Mojibul Haque (66), Amjadhat Union Awami League General Secretary Jabbar (60), Munsirhat Union Awami League member Abdul Motaleb Bhuiyan (54), Upazila Awami League member Kazi Noor Alam (54) and Baligaon Union Awami League General Secretary from Feni Sadar and UP member Mohammad Mahfuz Mia (46) was arrested.
