A young man named Zakaria Hossain (30) hacked his aunt-in-law of Enayetpur, Sirajganj. The murder took place in Nowhata Char of Sthala Union on Wednesday evening.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Enayetpur Police Station Roshan Yazdani said on Thursday afternoon that the murderer Zakaria has been arrested in connection with the murder. He is the son of Khorsed Sarkar of the same village. The body has been sent to the morgue for post-mortem. The case is being prepared.

Neighbor Abdur Rashid said that Zakaria, son of Khorsed Sarkar of Nowhata Char, works in agriculture. However, he was a bit mentally disturbed. Manwara Begum, wife of deceased Shanta Sheikh, was hacked to death by her uncle's father-in-law while staying at home on Wednesday. At that time, the old Manwara Begum was killed by cutting off her head and two hands from her body. Zakaria's blood-stained clothes were put on when the locals caught him and handed him over to the police.
