As a result of continuous rain and breakdown of vehicles, the Narayanganj section of the Dhaka-Chittagong highway has caused a traffic jam over an area of about 10 km. Passenger suffering has become extreme.

On Thursday morning, the traffic jam has gone beyond the Keodhala area of Siddhirganj's Sanarpar on the highway. This traffic jam was seen in the Chittagong-bound lane.

According to the police and local sources, there has been a traffic jam on the highway since dawn. The situation has come to a standstill as vehicles have broken down at several points on the highway due to incessant rain.

Abul Mia, the driver of Hanif bus, said that the traffic jam has increased due to continuous rain. I heard that the vehicle in front was destroyed in this rain. Due to this, traffic congestion has increased.

OC of Kanchpur Highway Police Station Kazi Wahid Morshed said that there has been traffic jam since morning. Traffic jams have been disrupted at several points on the highway. Traffic congestion is being resolved. Hopefully, the traffic jam will reduce very soon.
