BNP executive committee member Salim Reza Habib has been given a show cause notice. He was mourned from the party's central office on Thursday (October 3).

In the letter signed by Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, senior joint secretary general of BNP, it is said that specific allegations have been received that you have taken out a motorcycle procession in your area Pabna-2 constituency on October 1 in defiance of the party decision. Such actions undoubtedly amount to overriding party decisions.

The letter further states that a written reply has been directed to be submitted to the Nayapaltan party central office within the next 24 hours, stating the reasons why organizational action will not be taken against you for disobeying the party decision.
