Former Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumder arrested

Jumbangla Desk: Former Food Minister Sadhan Chandra Majumdar has been arrested. He was arrested from Dhaka's Bashundhara residential area at around 8:30 pm on Thursday (October 3).

Additional Commissioner of Intelligence Branch of Dhaka Metropolitan Police Rezaul Karim Mallik confirmed the matter.

He said that a team of DB arrested him.

Incidentally, Sadhan Majumdar was accused in several cases filed after former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina left for India on August 5.

The DB official said, in which case he will be arrested, we will take that decision later.

Meanwhile, the president of Paltan Thana Awami League and the former councilor of ward number 13 of Dhaka South City Corporation. Enamul Haque Abul was arrested by the Intelligence Division (DB) of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP).

On Thursday, Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Media and Public Relations Department of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman said that there is a case against Paltan Thana Awami League president and former councilor of South City Enamul Haque Abul.

Gafur Molla, who attacked the student movement, was arrested with weapons. Gafur Mullah, who attacked the student movement, was arrested with weapons.
