Jumbangla Desk: Bengaluru and Chennai police have arrested eight people for living in India with fake identity cards. These eight people are residents of Bangladesh and Pakistan. For the past 10 years, they have settled first in Delhi, then in Bangalore.

The fake identity cards they created included Indian passports.

Among the four arrested by the Bengaluru police is a Pakistani national whose wife is a Bangladeshi woman. The parents of this woman were also living with them in India.

Hindu names were used in the fake identity cards they produced.

While many of the general public were surprised when this news came out, security analysts are not too surprised.

How did the police find them?

The first information about them came to the Bengaluru police from the immigration office in Chennai. When the accused were returning from Bangladesh, the immigration officials in Chennai became suspicious after seeing their passports. The accused had gone to Bangladesh to attend a religious gathering.


Hindu religious symbols were placed above the front door of the place where they lived. But the picture inside the house was different. There is a mention of the words 'Mehndi Foundation International Jashan-e-Younus'.

This Sufi organization is said to work to promote inter-faith harmony.

48-year-old Rashid Ali Siddiqui is a citizen of Pakistan. A Bangladeshi woman was married to him online.

Mr. because of his religion. He told the police that Siddiqui's living in Pakistan had become a problem. After that he started living in Bangladesh.

Then husband and wife and Mr. All four of Siddiqui's parents-in-law crossed the Bangladesh border and went to Delhi. There they made Hindu names, fake passports and India's national identity card Aadhaar card, said the police.

Rashid Siddiqui came to India and took the name Shankar Sharma. His wife Ayesha Hanif became Asha Rani. Miz Hanif's father Muhammad Hanif took the name Rambabu Sharma and his wife i.e. Rashid Siddiqui's mother-in-law's name changed from Rubina to Rani Sharma.

Former Director General of Karnataka Police ST Ramesh said, "The police are now investigating a 10-year-old incident because suddenly such a case has come to their hands."
