In this case, Rozi is the named accused in the statement number 46.

Police produced him in the Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court of Dhaka on Thursday. After that, the investigating officer applied for a five-day remand for the proper investigation of the case. On the other hand, his lawyer applied for bail seeking cancellation of remand. After hearing both sides, Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Arifur Rahman rejected his bail application and granted a two-day remand.

The police arrested him from his home in Khilkhet area of ​​the capital on Wednesday night.

It has been said in the complaint of the case that on August 5, in the march of the anti-discrimination movement, Md. Sirajul Bepari took part. When the procession reached in front of BRAC University, the leaders and activists of Awami League and its affiliates opened fire. Sirajul Bepari was instantly killed by 3 bullets fired by unknown accused. In this incident, his cousin Hasibul Hasan Lovelu filed a murder case on September 1. 120 people including former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina were accused in the case.
