Jumbangla Desk: Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has arrested Sameer Chand, the president of Bangladesh Awami League's affiliate Krishak League.

He was arrested from Badda area of ​​the capital on Thursday (October 4) around 1:00 am, said Deputy Commissioner (DC) of Public Relations and Media Wing of DMP Muhammad Talebur Rahman.

He said that there is a case against Sameer Chand in several police stations of the capital.

In 2019, the central committee of Krishak League, an affiliate of Awami League, was announced. Sameer Chand was elected as the president of that committee.
