Elon Musk plans to settle on Mars within the next 20 years. But the hostile climate there can be a threat to humans.

Scientists say that the skin color of people born on red planet can turn green. Apart from this they will also become physically weak. Therefore, they feel that more research is needed before making a settlement there.

Rice University of Texas biologist Dr. Scott Solomon said that children born on Mars can undergo many changes in their bodies. They may have weak muscles, poor eyesight and weak bones. Even the skin color may turn green.

Mars is 30 percent smaller than Earth. The gravity there is also less. This can make people face hostile situations. The radioactivity there is also much higher than the earth, so the color of the skin can change.
