Hindus are happy as BNP assures security for puja celebrations in Manikganj

Saiful Islam, Manikganj: The Manikganj district BNP has assured full cooperation and maximum security for the upcoming autumn Durga Puja, the biggest religious festival of Hindus. The leaders of various Hindu religious organizations expressed their happiness after getting the assurance given by the district BNP leaders.
On Friday (04 October) in the afternoon, in an exchange meeting at the district BNP president's political office at Munnu City in the Giland area of the district, the district BNP leaders assured the Hindus of all cooperation and security during the autumn Durga Puja.
Central BNP co-organizing secretary Benazir Ahmed Titu, BNP Dhaka divisional co-organizing secretary Nazrul Islam Azad, district BNP general secretary SA Jinnah Kabir, district Krishak Dal president Golam Kibria Saeed, Manikganj Press Club spoke in the exchange meeting under the chairmanship of district BNP president Afroza Khanom Rita. Convener Md. Jahangir Alam Biswas, Convener of District Youth Dal Kazi Moshtaq Hossain Dipu, Member Secretary Tuhinur Rahman Tuhin, Convenor of District Volunteers Dal. Md. Jinnah Khan, District Chhatra Dal Vice President Mridul Kanti and others.
Various leaders of BNP district and upazila level were present at the time.
On the other hand, district and upazila level leaders of various organizations including Hindu religious organization Bangladesh Puja Celebration Parishad, Bangladesh National Hindu Mahazot, Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Unity Parishad, Hindu-Buddhist-Christian Welfare Front were present.
Various leaders including the Vice President of Bangladesh Puja Udjakar Parishad Vasudev Goswami, General Secretary Anirban Kumar Pal, General Secretary of Hindu-Buddhya-Christian Oikya Parishad Ashutosh Roy and General Secretary of Hindu-Buddhya-Christian Welfare Front Gaurang Sarkar gave speeches. At this time, the speakers expressed hope that they will be able to celebrate the puja safely after getting the assurance given by BNP.
