According to the information provided by the locals, several tourists went to the shower area around 8:30 am on Friday (October 4). At that time, when the news spread that two tourists were missing, they informed the fire service.

Later, from 11 o'clock, a diving team of the fire service started an operation to rescue the missing tourists in the spring well. Later around 1 pm Jharna recovered their bodies from the deep well.

Imam Hossain Patwari, Station Officer of Mirsarai Fire Service and Civil Defense Station, said that a diving team was sent for rescue after receiving the news that two tourists were missing in Rupsi Jharna located in the hills of Wahedpur Union of the upazila. Their bodies were recovered after a two-hour search. The identity of the deceased is not yet known.
