Arakanese people are believed to have settled in the region from Burma in the 18th century. Then they dug many wells or wells in search of drinking water, so the area was called Kuakata. Kuakata is the only seaside place where both sunrise and sunset can be seen.

5. Cox's Bazar: Cox's Bazar is the most popular business tourist center of Bangladesh. The number of foreign tourists is the highest here. To get a touch of peace on the seashore, groups of travel-hungry people flock to Cox's Bazar.
