How to keep your home safe from burglars?

At the end of the day, the return address is home, flat or house! Which is as precious as it is dear to everyone. Home is one such place where we can safely spend time alone. That's why when we move to a new address, the first thought is how to strengthen home security.

Use autolock on main gate of house or flat. No one can open the lock even after a lot of effort. Good quality autolocks are available in the market. Security alarm locks can be used on the door for added security. By doing this, if someone touches the lock, the alarm will sound.

Before leaving the house, lock the doors and windows of the room well. Fix all the doors and windows that are a little wobbly. Use more than one lock if necessary. Those living on the ground floor of the house will turn off the ventilation gaps. This is a major vulnerability in room security. Keep the outside lights on at night.

You may not turn off the electrical switch while leaving the house in a hurry. As bills will come for no reason, accidents can happen. So, double check that everything is switched off before going out. It is best to switch off the electrical mains of the house. Besides, the electrical connection of the refrigerator should also be disconnected in situations where it is not going to be there for a few days.

Definitely turn off the gas stove and leave the house. Go home with the rear key off in addition to the front knob. Open the window before lighting the stove. Otherwise gas can accumulate in a closed room and catch fire.

Request all neighbors or relatives staying in Dhaka to take care of your house. Keep in touch with them on the phone. Alert the home security guard that no one can enter the home without your consent. Do not open the door without confirming the identity of the visitor in the absence of the security guard. If you are a tenant, report homelessness before you go home.
