The dollar is now at a six-week high on Friday (Oct 4) ahead of a new US interest rate cut, the report said.

Analysts said the rise in the value of the dollar was due to tensions in the Middle East and the current state of the global economy.


According to Reuters data, the dollar index hit a six-week high of 101.90 on Thursday (October 3) at 102.09. That is, this index has increased by about one and a half percent. Its strongest position since last April.
